Horrible experience! My engine light would be on; I’d drop off my Tahoe; you would find a “problem”; I’d pay, only to find the engine light on AGAIN! I’ve been to your shop 5 times in 5 months. I’ve paid thousands of dollars and my engine light continues to be on and most recently; my truck wouldn’t even start. I am beginning to believe that my truck is being sabatoged.

Already submitted 2 responses to North Star Chev. to Emma Jones. First, the original survey asking how my service was for which I replied: Hello, I just picked my truck up after being inspected, and having the Techs look at a couple issues that I have been experiencing lately First the radio has a mind of its own, Meaning that the radio would automatically scan channels with the display screen and the channel menu going from the low to the high channels at a fast rate. Also, this issue just started to happen earlier this week, with the the control knobs, temperature, radio screen all going dark mainly when you hit a bump and then hitting a bump again and everything going back on in most cases. most cases. The Techs told me they tried to get both issues to recreate and said they could not, after driving the truck 10 miles or so. Not 5 minutes after leaving North Star these 2 described issues started to happen again and as before would last until I would hit a bump again. Something loose you all tell me. Were they too booked with appointments and didn’t have time to really investigate this and make another appointment to bring the truck back They should have said that if that was the case, I would have understood and made another appointment. Yet I was charged for what, story time? I apologize for the long rambling email. Thank you for taking the time to give us this valuable feedback, I will pass this along to my manager. No response back from anyone yet. The second response sent back after Emma Jones responded: Okay, so that the Techs can tell their story? I feel that they were not honest or had too much work to be bothered spending time today to investigate these issues. The issue with the radio has gotten worse since last Friday (5/3) after I picked up the truck, now the control screen will not function on the right side and the control knob lights have only gone off once when hitting a bump and back on again when another bump was hit. I explained this all to the Check In person at the time of the original check in. I just want them to spend some time investigating these 2 issues, but I should not have to pay for the labor charge going through all this nonsense. I'm fine paying for whatever is wrong with both issues to be corrected. I just want a functioning truck in these area. Thank you, David Nagy 412

Dealer customer care from Northstar was prompt and communication action good from their advisor Jay Pitman. Scheduling is easy and soon..Several attempts to remedy a issue with a new truck has failed. Although scheduling was prompt and response to the issue was immediately addressed, the attempts have not solved the issue. A third attempt to rectify the issue has me standing by for a component which is on back order with no "delivery in stock time" to be told other than it could be weeks or month. I cannot hold the dealership responsible for not being able to get a component but rather hold GM themselves responsible for a defective component on a $100,000 truck passed and allowed to leave the factory to be sold at such a high cost..For this price the purchaser should expect excellence in a vehicle rather than issues..Northstar has updated software to a current bulletin on the vehicle available. Still the service from Northstar has been prompt and courteous with what would seem to be attempting to solve the or any issue. I still have faith in this dealership in that they will remedy the issue before I decide to take any alternative recourse which depends upon when the problem is solved..GM customer care has assigned a case number to this but my attempts to communicate to them and the representative who assigned it has been without any response from them.
