The video provided was helpful, however, the panning was a bit dizzying. I brought my 2018 Chevrolet Equinox in for a State Inspection, Emissions, & New Fob. When I arrived, I was met by my service consultant Mr. Anthony Houge. I was given a time frame of how long this process would take, and how much it would cost. When it was all said & done, my vehicle was done within the time constraints, and the price of the service was spot on. When it was all said and done, it was another truly professional job by all parties involved in this process. In closing, I can see why North Star Chevy is above all dealerships that I have dealt with, keep up the outstanding work.

VERY stressful day...arrived for 8:30am appointment just to get oil change, tire rotation, filter. It was clear that I would be WAITING for them to finish. Sat in waiting room for 2 1/2 hrs. while 7 other people came and went. At 11:00am, I finally went out to advisor to see what the problem was, and was told that they had messaged me (not possible, as they did not have my cell #) and they had also called me at home at 9:30am, so basically I had been sitting there for 1 1/2 hrs. for nothing...WHY WOULD HE CALL MY HOME TO SAY THEY ARE FINISHED WHEN I WAS SITTING RIGHT THERE IN THE NEXT ROOM? Those other 7 people all had their advisors come out to where we were sitting, to let them know their vehicles were done being serviced. This is NOT an acceptable procedure.

It went pretty well but took 3 hours to accomplish which was too long. Also, I requested to have the engine coolant topped off and it was not, on the emissions test document the engine cylinders was documented as 4 cylinders but my engine is a V6, not sure if that is something imporant.

The service manager was great - kept us up to date on the part that was ordered and ensured we had appointment before the daughter took the car to college. However, the service tech that did the work left dirty handprints on the headliner, left discarded screws loose in the center console, and left a tool in the door that required a second visit to return.

I requested to redeem my GM Rewards points when scheduling my appointment through the GM app and again confirmed at check-in that I wanted to use my points. I later contacted GM Rewards because I was charged the full amount. GM Rewards confirmed that no redemption request was submitted for this visit and, after reviewing my account, confirmed that there have never been any redemptions on my account despite my requesting to use my points at previous service appointments as well. I have already contacted dealership management and am waiting for a response. This situation required me to spend significant time investigating an issue that should have been handled during the service visit. In addition, the service check-in process has consistently been unclear. I hope these issues are addressed so future customers donāt experience the same problems.

Went in for an inspection and to have a recall fixed. After returning to pick up my vehicle the check engine light was on. Dan arranged a loaner car immediately and also squeezed my truck into to have another repair done that same week. I just had an appointment for the first and free oil change on my new 2026 Chevy Colorado Trail Boss. All went well. Please note though, that the Tech that worked on my truck is an awesome, honest man. Earlier, I had installed my own running boards. Apparently I left a very nice pair of long, needle nosed pliers underneath on the frame rail. He could have just as easily stuck them in his tool box and only he would have known. Instead, he made it a point to hand them to me personally. Employees like that need to be cherished.
