I accidentally brought the wrong registration (I own 2 Chevy vehicles). The one being inspected was leased so the numbers needed to get a substitute on line were quickly retrieved and my mistake rectified expeditiously. It also ended up being free with my GM points. Couldn’t have been better!

I brought my 2024 Chevrolet Equinox in for service, for state inspection, oil change, and tire rotation, on 4/2/2025, at 8:00 am. I was met by my service advisor, and I was told all 3 items would take 1 Hr. and 15 minutes to complete. My service advisor came and got me at 9:15 am, he told me my vehicle was done, and I proceeded to the cashier to pay the bill. I was highly impressed with the service that was done on my vehicle, and it was within the time limits with the service that was done on my vehicle, and it was done within time limits the service advisor had told me. I have had my Equinox in for service twice, and each experience has been very positive, and I would recommend NorthStar Chevrolet to anyone, who is willing to purchase a Chevrolet vehicle because they are a top notch dealership.

I love my new Equinox. I was not impressed with the customer service. We arrived at appointment time of 6pm. We had most of the paper work completed the day before, we just had the financial paperwork to complete. We were told there they had call offs that day, as a Registered Nurse, I understand that! We arrived at 5:50 and let the front desk attendant know we were there to pick up our new car. It took one hour before our salesman came out to see us. He stated was in the middle of a deal. We understood and we were patient. Then there were issues with another customer and their finance papers. Our salesman said he would fill our gas tank up as compensation, the new Equinox, did not move from the parking spot. When it was all said and done, we did not get out of the dealership until 10:15.

Larry was great really liked him. At time of pickup,he had other things to take care of. Was really quick and impatient teaching me the technology,never offered to let me drive before I bought, only let me ride ,with him to service because a part wasn't working. When I did pick up the car ,Friday,,he couldn't figure out how to set the climate button. Had been called over the intercom, told me to drive to service,ask them what the problem was. Never saw him again,the service department helped me and actually drove me in the garage to look,(I was not trained to drive the car)! Thank God ,my sister was with me to help,the young man who helped drive the car in and then backed it out ,was a member of my sister's church.

A part that should havee we been covered under the parts warranty was not. I was humiliated and told I was lying about when I had an oil change and that whoever put the oil in last time only put one quart in. That was very insulting because my son that is a technician does my oil changes.

I wish there was an easier way for the dealership to know that I purchased a service package on my current lease. Everytime I’ve gone for regular maintenance or services such as oil changes, and inspections I’m charged for the services. I have to explain every time I go that I have a service package and they need to look it up then adjust the bill. I also was told I am entitled to a new set of windshield wiper blades once a year with my 3 year lease agreement. I find out this past visit that is not true it’s only a discount I receive. The gentleman was nice enough to give them to me for free this time, but I was told next time I need to purchase them but will receive a 25% discount. I was specifically told about all the perks of this package by the finance guy when I signed my lease agreement and added the service package. He read from his computer screen all the perks of this package. I don’t understand who was incorrect in telling me this info, but it’s frustrating being told one thing then the dealship says something different when you take advantage of this so called service package.

I appreciate that you got me in for service. I appreciate that you got me a loaner so I could keep going to work and do my normal everyday things. Would have liked to see the broken component but got a picture of it. Was expensive to replace. I purchased this truck from Northstar in Zelienople but they never have a loaner for me when I need it the most. Very disappointing.
